How do product feeds work in Magento 2?
When you want to offer your products on marketplaces or advertising platforms, you need to provide your product information. This can be done with excel sheets, but also with a product feed that you prepare on your server. This feed is then periodically read by the marketplace.
However, each marketplace or platform has different specifications for how you deliver the information. So you need to create many different feeds before you can use the enormous potential of these channels.
This is where Channable comes in: You link your Magento 2 webshop once with Channable by means of a plug-in and after this you can link from Channable to hundreds of marketplaces and advertising platforms.
Processing orders with the order link from Channable
When you choose for the Fulfilment by Merchant program of Amazon or use Bol.com, you will receive the orders by email and in the portal of the platform. From there, you can ship the orders. This works well until you receive a lot of orders. With Channable's order link, the orders that come in through the platforms are transferred directly to your Magento 2 environment. You can then process these in the same way as you are used to with the regular Magento orders. The order link from Channable works both ways: From the platform, the order is placed in your Magento shop through Channable and from Magento, the order status and track & trace code you receive from the carrier is fed back to the platform through Channable.
